January 2009: Tribute to Freddie Hubbard
Freddie Hubbard, one of the most creative and innovative trumpet players in jazz, died on December 29th 2008 age 70.
It is remarkable just how many of the best jazz albums of the past fifty years have been informed by his great musical vision. As our own modest tribute to his great talent, here is a listing of the albums that he has featured on in our reviews:
