Includes a wealth of contrasting material and three new Shorter compositions: "As Far as the Eye Can See,” “Adventures Aboard the Golden Mean,” and the title track. Challenging tone poems that determinedly refuse to swing. A must for those who saw them live and a highly recommended reminder of how productive Shorter still is.
